Alpha Male XL is a natural supplement, meaning that it’s made mainly from plant products and minerals and vitamins, similar to things you’d find at a GNC or a Rite Aid. The purpose of the product seems to be two-fold: on the one hand, it promises men an increase in sexual vitality, sex drive, and desire, and on the other it promises more energy and less fatigue in general. Polypodium Vulgare is a fern that’s distilled into an extract to treat impotence, and is a common ingredient not only in men’s sex supplements, but women’s as well.

Muira Puama is a plant with its origins in Brazil, and it is marketed as a remedy to treat problems with menstrual flow and stomach pain. One of its main abilities, however, is the to be able to treat low libido in men and women, making it a popular product.

These products are fairly similar, but they also differ in lots of ways. While both supplements are based on herbal extracts and aphrodisiacs, Alpha Male XL seems to contain more ingredients that have some science behind them, like ginseng and yohimbe, while BoostUltimate contains some ingredients that have almost no science behind them like astralagus and orchic extract (made from cow testes). BoostUltimate doesn’t look like it has a website of its own, so all we’re left with is whatever information is available on its Amazon page, and it looks like it contains more for your money – a three-month supply, as opposed to Alpha Male XL, which only contains enough for one month.
