What you need:

  • A cup of cashew (kaju)
  • A half cup of sugar
  • Five tablespoons of water
  • A tablespoon of coconut or ghee (optional)
  • A teaspoon of rose water

How to make:

  • Firstly, grind cashew into powder by using a dry grinder or coffee grinder
  • Secondly, turn  low flame and heat water with sugar in a non-stick or thick bottomed pan meanwhile grease a tray or a plate and put it aside

  • Three cups of milk

  • Boora – 75 mg

  • Coconut – 1 tablespoon
  • Chocolate – 300 mg
  • Water

How to make:

  • Firstly, roast the grated Khoa in a pan until it becomes light brown
  • Secondly, roast suji flour with a teaspoon of ghee in a pan
  • Thirdly, mix roasted suji flour, roasted Khoa, boora, a teaspoon of ghee, cashew nuts, coconut, raisins and almond in a bowl well together. And you keep this bowl aside
  •  Next sieve the Maida flour and add three teaspoons of ghee. Add an enough amount of lukewarm water in and knead it in order to make the tight dough
  • Cover it with a wet cloth and keep aside for 10 minutes
  • Then use it to make small balls
  • Roll the balls in about 4-inch size
  • Take one and a half teaspoon of the filling mixture and put it in a half round
  • Now fold and seal it. Be sure that the filling mixture can’t come out when frying.
  • Put raw gujia in the plate and use a muslin cloth to cover it not to keep it dry

  • Flour – 4 cups
  • Ghee – 2 ¼ cups
  • Milk – ¼ cup

  • Water – 1 ½ cups

  • Firstly, grease a square pan with a minimum of two-inch rim with the ghee and keep aside
