AVG Rating: 3.3/10

SafSlim is a diet supplement which is comprised of safflower oil, linoleic acid, and vegetable juice. The supplement is mean to be taken in one tablespoon serving sizes, taken as is or mixed into another drink or food item. The product was designed to decrease the appetite, reduce cravings, and improve metabolism.

This diet supplement comes with a long list of claims, but no real clear picture of how it works to burn fat.  Nor does it contain any supplements known for their ability to work as an appetite suppressant.

That said, we’ll take a look at the Safslim formula and learn whether this product is, in fact, an effective weight loss supplement.

SafSlim Overview

Unlike many competing products, Safslim is a liquid supplement, which the makers of this product claim has a “delicious taste.” As such, this oil-based supplement can be easily mixed into a fruit smoothie or shake. Consumers have mentioned that this product provides a creamy texture and good flavor, so this claim seems to be verifiable.

According to the official website, this product must be taken for a minimum of 16 weeks along with exercise and diet to produce meaningful results. So, it’s worth pointing out that this is not the product for you if you’re seeking out a quick fix fat burner.

The product is made with safflower oil, a substance known for its ability to fight off cravings naturally, plus fatty acids like oleic acid, linoleic acid, and vitamin E—together, these ingredients might help suppress the appetite, stave off hunger pangs, and improve glucose and blood sugar levels.

SafSlim Claims

According to the makers of SafSlim, this product may be used to boost fat loss potential due to the presence of proven ingredients.

Oddly enough, this product isn’t necessarily made for the average dieter. The formula was designed for people with an excess of body fat in the “trunk” or midsection–particularly post-menopausal women.

The product aims to help users on a holistic level. According to the manufacturers, Safslim supports cardiovascular health, reduces cholesterol levels, balances insulin and blood sugar, and helps users maintain a healthy weight.

Users are directed to take this supplement by spoon or mix into food items like yogurt or a smoothie.

Additionally, the nutrition label states that users must take this product for a minimum of 16 weeks while participating in exercise and avoiding high glycemic foods.

The idea is that this supplement is used as part of a whole lifestyle shift, not some miracle appetite suppressant.

SafSlim Ingredients

Safslim’s ingredient list is primarily made from liquids—omega fatty acid-centric oils and nutrients like vitamin E and citric acid.

Here is a look at how the makers of Safslim claim that their product can help you achieve your weight loss goals:

  • Water
  • Xylitol
  • Glycerin
  • Gum Arabic
  • Safflower Oil
  • Vegetable Juice
  • Citric Acid
  • Xantham Gum
  • Guar Gum
  • Sorbic Acid
  • Vitamin E
  • Palmitic Acid
  • Stearic Acid
  • Oleic Acid
  • Linoleic Acid

Oleic acid, or Omega-9, is a monosaturated fatty acid. Oleic acids are found in animals and in humans and work to balance your cholesterol levels and reduce your risk of developing heart disease.

Aside from the work they do inside the body, oleic acids are shelf-stable and last a considerably long time, which is while you’ll find them in a number of food items as a preservative (think salad dressings, dairy products, and potato chips).

Linoleic acid, unlike oleic acid, is a polyunsaturated fatty acid is a fatty acid that humans do not produce on their own. Rather, humans must rely on plant-based food sources to get this nutrient. Linoleic acid is an omega-6 fatty acid that may work to reduce LDL and total cholesterol. According to Harvard’s School of Public Health, linoleic acid may also improve insulin sensitivity and blood pressure.

Safflower oil, a source of conjugated linoleic acids, or CLAs, may work to decrease fat mass in dieters ingesting the plant oil on a daily basis. Some researchers believe the oil can improve the body’s fat composition, but there is minimal evidence supporting this claim.

According to a study published in 2024 by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, participants who added safflower oil to their diets did not see any meaningful changes to their BMI.

Vitamin E is an antioxidant vitamin used for its ability to fight inflammation, reduce free radical damage, and more. While this ingredient is an important nutrient for everyone, regardless of diet, it likely won’t stimulate weight loss. But it may have a balancing effect.

Science of SafSlim

A few of these ingredients do have some known benefits, but a lot of this formula is made from cheap thickening agents like xylitol and glycerin. That said, safflower oil is used to prevent heart disease, stroke and a range of standard ailments like coughing, breathing problems, and constipation.

The makers of this formula tout the benefits of the patented safflower oil above all else. The CLAs may be used as a weight loss tool, but the link between the ingredient and fat loss still needs to be studied further.

The official website does cite a study conducted by Ohio State University. The double-blind study showed that safflower oil might work to increase a hormone called adiponectin, which helps your body process calories.

That said, there don’t seem to be any studies that look at the Safslim formula on a holistic level.

The only ingredient known for its weight loss benefits is the patented form of safflower oil–responsible for the name/concept of Safslim.

Reviewers from Amazon voiced many complaints about the lack of efficacy they experienced with this product. Additionally, there aren’t any metabolism boosting ingredients or true appetite suppressants present in the formula. In all, this product looks to be something of a disappointment to people who took the whole “good fats can help you lose weight” wisdom a bit too far.

SafSlim Reviews

Interestingly (and this may be one great advantage of Safslim) this product is well-reviewed regarding flavor. People like that you can add the oil-rich supplement to a shake or smoothie and that it adds this creamy fruit flavor into the mix.

But, the positivity seems to stop at the flavor. People on Vitacost’s website, as well as Amazon, mentioned that the product did not provide any meaningful effect on the waistline. A few people claimed that the product caused some weight gain, but results appear to be pretty inconsistent.

The product costs about $32.99 for 30 servings of product. It doesn’t seem that expensive, but compared with most products in the category, you’re not getting a lot for the price.

Is Saflslim Worth a Try?

We’re not sure if this product is actually the right.
buy diflucan online https://www.bodybuildingestore.com/wp-content/languages/new/engl/diflucan.html no prescription

There’s nothing inherently unsafe about this product; it also doesn’t seem to be effective for most people.

This selection of fatty acids might provide some key nutritional benefits. CLA is thought to affect weight loss and may improve users’ ability to retain muscle mass and control symptoms associated with Type 2 diabetes. Additionally, this ingredient may have a positive effect on the immune system and the metabolism.

But, in the end, the product might have some positive effects, but users need to make other dietary changes if they want to see any meaningful results—you need to exercise, eat well, avoid high glycemic foods. That’s all well and good, but without any evidence that the product boosted the metabolism, it seems that dieters were likely to have lost weight by making these other changes.
