Stamina RX Overview

Stamina RX is a supplement for men who want some extra help in their sex life. If you have a low libido, this product is supposed to make you more aroused, more powerful, and longer-lasting during sex. They promise that it works quickly, and that it’s the most popular and widely-used sex enhancement supplement in the world.

They want us to believe that this is the ultimate male enhancement supplement, but is this really all it’s cracked up to be? We did some research, and there’s good reason to suspect that everything this company says about Stamina RX is bogus.

Stamina RX Claims

Here we are, another “natural” sexual enhancement supplement that’s supposed to be the best in the world. What does Stamina RX promise? The company claims that it contains high-quality ingredients that help the body’s natural sexual functions, as opposed to drugs that can interfere with the body’s biology. The chemicals in these herbal extracts are supposed to promite feelings of arousal, and increase circulation to the genitalia so that not only are erections easier to get, they can last longer too – plus extra sensitivity, for more pleasure during sex. Some of the ingredients are also supposed to help the body’s endurance, so that you can last longer during those high-intensity sex sessions.

It’s claimed that over a billion of these pills have been sold, that they’re the most popular ever, and that it has been the top product in the entire sexual enhancement supplement industry for over ten years.

That’s a lot of bold claims, but who’s making them? They’re called Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, a nutritional supplement manufacturer who packages other companies’ supplements, in addition to their own. They’ve been in business since the 1970s, so they’ve been around for a while. Does that translate to being better and more trustworthy, though?

Not so fast.

We checked out Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals’ history, and it turns out they’ve committed some pretty serious offenses. Back in 2024, they were sued by the Federal Trade Commission for deceiving customers about the effectiveness of some of their products, including an erectile dysfunction supplement – they lost, and had to fork over $15 million in damages. But that’s not all. In 2024 they were sued again, after the FTC found them up to their old tricks, violating the 2024 order, and they were again found guilty of deceiving customers. The price? $40 million in damages to customers who’d been swindled.

Nice people, huh?

This has happened to other nutritional supplement companies: they make a pill, make impossible promises, deceive customers in order to make a buck, get caught, and then have to pay out tens of millions in settlements. It’s a sign that the company genuinely does not have your best interests at heart. This is a huge strike against this company, and should make anyone second guess the claims they make about this or any other product they make.

Stamina RX Ingredients

The list of ingredients for Stamina RX is decently-sized, and contains herbs and plant extracts that we’ve seen in other supplements. Here’s a list:

  • Epimedium
  • Yohimbe
  • Cnidium
  • Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa
  • GABA
  • L-Arginine

Epimedium is the classy way of saying “horny goat weed,” a traditional Chinese herb used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It’s supposed to limit the amount of blood that leaves the penis, much like Viagra.

Yohimbe is a popular ingredient in men’s sex health supplements, coming from the extract of the bark of the African yohimbe tree. While it’s been used to help men with sexual dysfunction due to its supposed affects on blood circulation and the nervous system, the truth is much darker – it’s actually dangerous. People who used it can see side effects like:

  • Headaches, rapid heartbeat, nausea
  • Vomiting, kidney failure, heart attacks

Cnidium is a Chinese plant used for treating erectile dysfunction and low sex drive in men. Not much research has been done about it, unfortunately, meaning that any claims made about its effect don’t really have proof to back them up.
Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa
is a lichen, which is basically a combination of a fungus and algae. It’s used by some companies as a way to help men with their erections, but watch out: this stuff is dangerous. We’ll get into it in the next section.

L-Arginine is a common ingredient in sex supplements. It’s a natural amino acid that can improve blood circulation: it gets converted into nitric oxide, which widens blood vessels and lets more blood flow to those parts that need it.

The Science Behind Stamina RX

Some of the ingredients in this product do have some evidence that they’re effective. L-arginine, for example, has been tested in clinical trials on men who problems with erectile dysfunction, and there’s some trials that it can really help men when administered in the right doses (Stanislavov, R, J Sex Marital Ther, 2003). But that’s not the problem with this product. The problem is that it contains two dangerous ingredients, yohimbe and xanthoparmelia scabrosa.

Yohimbe, despite being a traditional remedy for erectile dysfunction, is actually really dangerous. Whole countries in the E.U. have banned yohimbe and all products containing its extracts, and Canada has severely restricted yohimbe products, all due to the health effects associated with it – including liver failure and heart failure. Not only that, but the FDA took it off their list of approved pharmaceutical chemicals twenty years ago (Svan, Jennifer: “Study: Yohimbine …” Stars and Stripes, 2024). And according to WebMD, there’s no actual proof it works in the first place.

Xanthoparmelia scabrosa is another problematic ingredient, because not only is there “insufficient evidence” that it helps men with erectile dysfunction, but it “contains poisonous chemicals that can cause healthy body cells to die” (“Xanthoparmelia,” WebMD).

Regardless of how well the other ingredients work, these two make this a dangerous supplement to take.

Word on the Street about Stamina RX

Now that we know about what’s in this supplement, and who exactly is trying to sell it to us, we wanted to see what people thought about it. Since there’s only one “review” on the product’smain page, we decided to check around on other sites where the supplement is sold to get an idea of how people are reacting to it, and the reaction is about what you’d expect:

“These pills worked, but I got horrible stomach pain.”

“I used these pills one night with my wife, and even though we were pretty horny, it made us stay up all night unable to sleep, and got upset stomach and hot flashes.”

“I took the standard dose, and felt no effects from it. I’ll try again to see if it works.”

“This didn’t really work, but it did make me nauseous.”

“This stuff made my husband sick, and he lost two days of work as a result.”

“This might work for you, if you’re okay with the side effects.”

“Didn’t see any results of note.”

“This stuff works okay, but it’s not incredible.”

We should note that we could only find a couple dozen reviews of this product among the few websites we’ve seen. They claimed they had sold over a billion pills, though, so surely the number should be higher.

Is Stamina RX Worth a Try?

That’s a big “no” from us. Honestly, this pill comes with so many problems, we’d consider it one of the least-appealing supplements on the market. First off, the company that makes it has been repeatedly sued by the FTC for deliberately lying to customers in order to sell more pills, which is a major strike against them. You should only be dealing with companies that show good faith, are upfront and honest about what they sell and how it works, and who don’t have multiple lawsuits filed against them in their past.

The next thing is the ingredients. Sure, it’s got only standbys like l-arginine and horny goat weed, but it also has controversial and poisonous ingredients yohimbe and xanthoparmelia, both of which could make you sick, dizzy, or cause worse symptoms like organ damage.

Lastly, there are the reviews. Even the people who claim that it “works” clarify that there are some heavy side effects that come with using these pills, and some of them even warn potential customers to avoid the product unless they’re willing to deal with the consequences.

Overall, we see zero reason to trust these people with you money, and no reason at all to risk your health and well-being on this supplement. There are way better products out there for you to try that not only come from more reputable, trustworthy companies, but which also come with high-grade, safe ingredients that won’t make you have to take two days off work.

Avoid Stamina RX like the plague.

Stamina RX vs Viagra

These products are pretty different, despite being intended for the same kinds of purposes. Viagra is only intended to help men get and maintain erections, while Stamina RX is supposed to help men’s libido and endurance as well.

The other main difference comes with the way they’re made. Stamina RX is a natural herbal supplement, with a formula meant to support your natural biological processes. Viagra on the other hand is a pharmaceutical drug, so it contains a medicine meant to change the body in some way. Viagra also requires a prescription from a doctor, while Stamina RX does not. They also differ greatly in price: Stamina RX can cost about $49.95 a bottle, while Viagra can cost about $40 for just one individual pill.

Stamina RX vs Extenze

These products are pretty similar: both of these are herbal supplements, made of natural ingredients and they even contain some ingredients in common (like l-arginine). They both promise to help men in the bedroom, helping with erection quality and sex drive. They differ only a little in price, as Stamina RX costs $49.95 for a one-month supply, while Extenze costs $59.95 – although Extenze offers discounts when you buy multiple bottles, which Stamina RX doesn’t.

Stamina RX vs Cialis

The differences between these products are the same as the differences between Stamina RX and Viagra. Cialis is a drug, while Stamina RX is a supplement. That means Cialis had to be approved by the FDA before it could be sold legally, but the FDA is not required to approve supplements like Stamina RX. Stamina RX can be purchased online regardless of who you are, while Cialis must be purchased after getting a prescription from a doctor.

Stamina RX FAQ

  1. What are the side effects of using Stamina RX?
They claim there are no side effects, but customers report a litany of bad side effects, including headaches, dizziness, insomnia, upset stomach, nausea, and diarrhea.
  2. Is Stamina RX available from Amazon??
It appears like it used to be available there, but the page has since been taken down, so we assume it’s not sold there anymore.
  3. Is there a Stamina RX drink?
There is a carbonated drink by the same people that’s supposed to do the same thing as Stamina RX, and even contains the same ingredients.
  4. Where can I read reviews of Stamina RX from 2024?
If you mean customer reviews, you’ll have to check out one of the several places that sell Stamina RX.
  5. Was Stamina RX recalled?
It looks like there was an older version of Stamina RX that was recalled because it illegally contained an undeclared drug called benzamidenafil – not surprising, considering how unsavory this company is – and so due to health concerns it was recalled.
  6. Can I get Stamina RX at Walmart?
Nope, Walmart doesn’t carry this at all.
  7. What are the ingredients in Stamina RX?
Epimedium, Yohimbe, Cnidium, Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa, GABA, and L-Arginine.
  8. Is there a liquid version of Stamina RX?

  9. Is Stamina RX the “blue pill”?
Yes and no. Technically, Stamina RX comes in the form of a blue pill, but the “little blue pill” usually refers to Viagra, and has been its nickname for about twenty years.
  10. Does Stamina RX cause vomiting?
It absolutely can cause vomiting, as well as other gastrointestinal problems, in men and women. This is because it contains yohimbe and xanthoparmelia, both of which have chemicals that can harm the body and produce toxic, poisonous effects.
