Fit Miss Delight Protein Overview

Fit Miss Delight Protein is a nutrition shake made for women. It’s designed to satisfy hunger while supporting lean muscle-building and providing quality calories to the system. While the brand doesn’t advertise itself as a meal replacement for weight loss, the drink aims to keep you full for several hours at a time, and it can be used as both a fitness support shake or a meal replacement.

The shakes rely on a blend of fruits and vegetables, along with a plant-based protein blend, Solathin, which aims to help users stay full of the long haul. On top of that, users will get digestive enzymes for balanced gut health and protein that quickly is absorbed.

You can make the Fit Miss Shake by adding one scoop of the powder to 8-12 ounces of water. Or, you can mix with your favorite type of milk, and additives like peanut butter, banana, or greens.

Fit Miss Delight Protein Claims

According to the makers of Fit Miss Delight Protein, this product contains a long list of ingredients from filling potato protein to whey and egg albumen–plus enough vitamins and minerals to fulfill your daily requirements.

The site claims that drinking the shake every day will result in weight loss, but unfortunately, doesn’t link to any studies highlighting the use of this product as a weight loss tool. Still, it’s rich in protein and whey is known for its ability to improve muscle building efforts during workouts.

Fit Miss Delight Protein Ingredients

Fit Miss Delight Protein is a high-protein, low-calorie shake. Though the packaging touts vegetable protein, the label does list whey protein and egg albumen as key ingredients, which may come off as misleading for some seeking out plant-based options.

  • Solathin Potato Protein
  • Whey Protein Concentrate
  • Egg Albumin
  • Micellar Casein
  • Cocoa powder
  • Flaxseed
  • Protease
  • Natural and artificial flavors

Solathin potato protein is a patented ingredient that gives users an ongoing “full” feeling. This ingredient may be used to support weight management for its ability to help users feel satisfied throughout the day.

Whey protein is considered a complete protein. Sourced from milk, this ingredient contains all nine essential amino acids and is absorbed quickly by the muscles after a long workout.

Egg albumen, or egg white, protein is used as another source of protein in this product, as well as a source of vitamins and minerals like niacin, potassium, sodium, and riboflavin, with minimal added fat.

The Science Behind Fit Miss Delight Protein

Many users have reported some level of success from taking this product, but there isn’t much scientific evidence backing the use of this product as a weight loss tool.

The makers of this product claim that one can expect increased energy with use, as well as feeling full for hours at a time, as well as weight loss and the development of lean muscles.

Whey protein is a good source of fuel for people (men and women) looking to gain muscle while burning fat. On the other hand, this product contains artificial sweeteners like sucralose and acesulfame potassium, or Ace K. Sucralose is chemically altered in a process that removes naturally-occurring hydrogen-oxygen molecules and replaces them with chlorine.

Ace K has been determined to be safe by the FDA, but the ingredient contains a carcinogen known as methylene chloride. Long-term exposure to this ingredient may cause liver or kidney problems, along with headaches, nausea, depression, and visual disturbances.

Word on the Street about Fit Miss Delight Protein

Amazon reviews spanned a range of experiences. Many of the people who used this claimed that some of the flavors—i.e., the strawberry margarita and the blue raspberry were not especially tasty, but others were a bit more palatable. Like some other weight loss shakes, this one is made tastier by making it into a smoothie—mixing in things like peanut butter, almond milk, and so on.

Most of the positive reviews focused less on the taste and more on things like the protein content, the fact that this is low sugar, calorie, and carb and that it fits in with a gluten-free diet.

However, we came across a few people (outliers, really) that found that this drink mix caused problems. One woman on the GNC site stated that Fit Miss Delight Protein forced her to visit the doctor—citing major stomach issues that came on right after drinking.

This effect may be due to a sensitivity to ingredients like sucralose and acesulfame potassium used in the blend. These ingredients may cause problems like depression, nausea, gas, diarrhea, bloating, irregular bowel movements, and upset stomach.

That said, most users saw no other major issues with this product. Fit Miss Delight Protein is relatively affordable, easy to find, and does a good job providing the nutrition women need to power their workouts.

Is Fit Miss Delight Protein Worth a Try?

There’s certainly a lot to like about Fit Miss Delight Protein. It’s gluten-free, low-carb, low-calorie and its made from whey protein and other high-quality ingredients.

However, there is a lack of research that supports the use of this product in a weight loss setting. That said, it’s not hard to find credible information backing the use of many of the key ingredients used to make this formula.

Some users said this product mixed poorly with liquid and some flavors were especially unpleasant. But, again, people always say this about protein shakes and the best results (regarding taste) usually come from making this into a smoothie–with milk and added fruit or nut butter.

What we didn’t like about this product is, the marketing language seems to make the product sound like it’s a plant-based formula, and this is far from accurate. The formula is certified gluten-free, but it contains both milk derivatives and egg. This isn’t an issue, per se, but we think that the messaging could be a bit more clear.
