Shake 360 Overview

Shake 360 was created as part of the Nutrisystem diet plan. For those who don’t know, Nutrisystem is a subscription program where users pay a certain amount per day to receive pre-portioned meals, snacks, and shakes delivered to their home. The idea is to add structure and portion control to users’ diets without sacrificing taste or limiting users to drinking the same meal replacement shake day in and day out.

That said, you can buy the shake on its own, if you’re not looking to get locked into such a program. Even for those who would rather not participate in a Shake 360 program the shake promises to deliver some key nutrients—it contains a long list of vegetables, fruits, protein, probiotics, and more.

Shake 360 Claims

Shake 360 markets itself as a meal replacement shake—it’s loaded with nutrients like fruits and vegetables, plus coconut oil.

This shake is offered in two flavors, chocolate and vanilla-berry and comes in a pre-measured packet to help you with portion control.

Shake 360 contains a blend of 16 superfoods and antioxidants, plus over 15 vitamins and minerals, three servings of greens, and a hearty 16 grams’ worth of protein. Additionally, the product aims to get your digestive health on track, with the addition of probiotics.

The sales copy states that the product is free from gluten, soy, dairy—making it appear to be a good source of nutrients for people following a vegan diet or those with food allergies.

According to the packaging, the product does not contain any artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors or preservatives.

Unfortunately, it seems like this product has been discontinued. Nutrisystem still offers a range of shakes that fit within their subscription service, but there’s not much information about Shake 360 these days. Shoppers might be able to track this down online—Walmart still has its listing posted, though the product is currently out of stock.

While most of these types of shakes are shelf-stable, it’s probably not the best idea to purchase mixes that have passed their sell-by date.

Shake 360 Ingredients

The official website mentions a long list of ingredients aimed at keeping you full, while simultaneously providing the nutrition needed to help you power through the day. According to the official product label, this product contains the following ingredients:

  • Pea Protein Concentrate
  • Pea Protein Isolate
  • Goji berries
  • Blueberries
  • Zucchini
  • Strawberry
  • Cane Sugar
  • Oat fiber
  • Xanthan gum
  • Coconut oil

This product is vegan, so whey protein is out of the picture. Instead, users get their protein from pea protein. Pea protein is a popular plant-based option, as it provides many (though not all) of the amino acids the body needs to synthetize protein.

That said, pea protein does not contain sufficient levels of cysteine and methionine essential amino acids. The product contains many antioxidants—from strawberry, blueberries, and goji berries. These ingredients provide vitamins, boost immune health, and help neutralize free radicals inside the body.

You’ll also get fatty acids known as MCTs due to the addition of coconut oil. This ingredient, though high in fat, may have a positive impact on the metabolism.

The Science Behind Shake 360

This product contains a number of ingredients, known for their nutritional content. Many of these items are vegetables or fruit—spinach, tomato, beet, zucchini, strawberry, broccoli, and mushrooms.

We like that the shake includes so many whole food nutrients in the blend—though some may have a negative impact on the flavor, depending on who you ask.

Pea protein has a lower allergen profile than things like soy or eggs and it’s vegan, which provides some significant benefits over other protein shakes on the market. But, pea protein doesn’t offer a complete amino acid profile and it may cause gas or bloating with use. Additionally, pea protein is sometimes contaminated by fertilizers and pesticides—so, if you choose to use this ingredient, make sure you’re buying a high-quality brand.

Shake 360 contains seven grams of sugar per serving, which is a little more than we’d like to see. According to the American Heart Association, women should limit their sugar intake to less than 24 grams per day, and with two shakes a day, you’re halfway there. It’s not as bad as some of the other products we’ve seen, but we’d prefer that meal replacement shakes keep the sugar at a minimum.

Word on the Street about Shake 360

Unfortunately, Shake 360 appears to have been discontinued. As such, there aren’t any listings on places like Amazon that serve as a platform for people to share their thoughts about this diet shake.

Past customers said this product was gritty and that they tasted a little bit off. Other customers felt that the shake mix was too expensive, given the amount of cheap filler ingredients included in the mix.

Some consumers did like that Shake 360 was a vegan shake and that it came with a number of desirable ingredients like probiotics, fruits, vegetables, and coconut oil. While we don’t know if this product contains enough of these items to provide any meaningful benefits, whole food items are certainly preferable to a bunch of filler ingredients and artificial flavors.

Ultimately, the makers of this product pulled the plug on production and have since replaced the product with a different shake.

Is Shake 360 Worth a Try?

There’s not really anything special about Shake 360 that makes it worth seeking out. The product, though it clearly had some benefits, has been discontinued, so any sites still carrying this item might have old stock on their hands.

The sales copy makes the product sounds pretty good though—it’s curious that Nutrisystem discontinued this item as it had a good mix of nutrients. For example, the product contained three servings of greens on top of the usual protein and amino acid ingredients.
buy strattera Canada http://healthinschools.org/wp-content/languages/new/canada/strattera.html no prescription

The product does contain a decent amount of protein—16 grams per serving, but users didn’t seem to like the taste.

Overall, it seems the negative reviews posted on Facebook and elsewhere have caused Nutrisystem to rethink the shake portion of their diet plan. The product has since been replaced with a new and improved shake—one that mixes better and is more palatable.
