Zytenz Review (UPDATED 2024) – Is It Safe?

963 Review(s)
AVG Rating: 4.4/10

This company has a huge problem – an “F” rating from the Better Business Bureau. Combine that with low customer reviews and some questionable ingredients and you’ve got another forgettable men’s “enhancement” supplement.

Zytenz Overview

Zytenz is a men’s sex supplement made by Synergistic Nutritional Compounds, LLC, a nutritional supplement company. This one promises that it can help men improve their performance in bed, the hardness of their erections, and their volume of sperm. They claim that it’s “pain-free” and safe, free of side effects that men generally see in prescription-only treatments for sexual dysfunction.

This product makes a lot of the same claims as other products do – and even contains some of the same ingredients – but does it really live up to their promises? We did some research, and it turns out that Zytenz really isn’t the “miracle cure” it’s cracked up to be.

Zytenz Claims

This product makes lots of promises to men who need some help in the bedroom, whether due to age, lifestyle, or just pure biological bad luck. They start off by claiming that the formula in this supplement – all-natural and safe, they promise – will give men harder, fuller erections. These pills are also meant to give men higher sex drives, making them more willing and able to have sex more often. As some men are also worried that the volume of their ejaculate is subpar, Zytenz promises that its ingredients can help increase the amount, so that men can become more virile and fertile.

We should mention that this product contains shellfish products, so if you’re allergic, you’re advised not to take this.

At one point, it almost seems like they promise that the pill will make you penis bigger – something which is, in fact, impossible – but they don’t really go anywhere with the claim beyond rambling on about how blood fills the tissues of the penis during erections. Did they include that headline just to get a positive reaction from some men, hoping they wouldn’t actually read the text below it?

Do we know anything about the people behind Zytenz? We know they’re called Synergistic Nutritional Compounds, LLC, but there’s no website associated with them, nor any sort of official business listing or profile.
https://www.fiercereads.com/wp-content/languages/new/buy-papers-online.html

They’re associated with some other products, including Fenphedra, but there’s no information that we could find about who exactly is in charge and what their history is. That’s not great.

We did, however, come across a Better Business Bureau profile for something called the “Zytenz Research Institute” – and we can only assume it’s referring to some of the same people behind this supplement. Well, the good news is this: they have an address. The bad news: that’s all they have going for them. They were given an “F” rating from the BBB, and the only activity on their profile there are three customer complaints. All three are about how the people at Zytenz don’t honor their refund policy. Yikes.

In a crowded industry like that of nutritional supplements, it’s crucial to make sure that people know they can trust you, and having a bad rating from the BBB and repeated complaints about not helping out customers with refunds reflects pretty badly. In an industry where you really need to stand out, there’s no excuse not to have glittering customer service.

Here’s a list of the best male sexual supplements, based on in-depth critiques.

Zytenz Ingredients

Zytenz has a long list of ingredients. Here are some of the main ones we saw:

  • D-Aspartic Acid
  • Tribulus Terrestris
  • Arginine
  • Eurycoma Longifolia
  • Maca
  • Resveratrol

D-aspartic acid is an amino acid that’s supposed to directly interact with the testicles and induce the production of more testosterone. With more testosterone in the body, men are supposed to become more sexual and have harder erections. But are these claims based in science? We did the research, and it’s not as simple as these people would have you think.

Tribulus Terrestris is a very common herbal extract used in sexual health supplements, as it’s supposed to have a positive effect on hormone levels, which can help people get a healthier, more robust sex drive.

Arginine is another amino acid, only this one is used to dilate blood vessels for increase circulation. The result promised by these sex supplements is that this ingredient will drive more blood to your extremities (i.e. your genitalia) for fuller erections.

Eurycoma Longifolia is a plant used in Southeast Asian folk medicine for treating low sex drive in both men and women. Some say that this herb can decrease the amount of estrogen in the body, which can allow room for testosterone to work, increasing the libido.

Maca is a Peruvian plant used in health products that usually have to do with sex or hormones as it’s said to affect the hypothalamus and regulate the amount of hormones being produced.

Resveratrol is a substance found in grapes and other berries, one that’s supposed to help maintain good cellular health.

The Science Behind Zytenz

Some of the ingredients in this product have some science behind them, but not all of them do.

D-aspartic acid has been a pretty popular ingredient in male supplements for both sexuality and bodybuilding, ever since it was suggested that it can get your body to produce more testosterone. Sounds simple, right? More d-aspartic acid, more testosterone, and with testosterone comes increases in sex drive, energy, and muscle tone. Problem is that the science leaves much to be desired. We came across a study saying that d-aspartic acid increased blood serum levels of testosterone (Topo, et al, 2024 via National Institutes of Health), but another that said there was no significant testosterone boost after subjects were tested (Melville, et al, 2024). With so little research, and the little research there is being contradictory, it’s safe to say there’s no conclusive proof this ingredient works.

Resveratrol also doesn’t have much going for it. In 2024 there was a paper detailing the research on resveratrol, and it was concluded that there’s just not enough evidence that it has any benefit on the body (Vang, O, et al: “What is new for an old molecule? …” PLoS ONE 2024).

For better sexual endurance and erection quality, these are the best supplements.

Word on the Street about Zytenz

It’s hard to find unbiased sources of quotes about Zytenz. You could just look at the product’s main website, but there’s no reason to think that the “testimonials” there are anything more than a collection of cherry-picked quotes that make the product look good. So we looked at a third-party source of reviews, Ebay, and what we found was pretty disappointing.

“This definitely worked for me, although it was mainly the one time.”

“Not much to say, other than I don’t think it works.”

“I’ve been taking this for several days and see no noticeable difference.”

“This product was misrepresented, but I guess it’s okay.”

“This doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money.”

“This product is fantastic. I would never use any other product.”

“Doesn’t work. Count me as another unsatisfied customer.

The reviews sort of go on like that: bad reviews from people who say Zytenze doesn’t work, peppered by one or two good reviews from people who say it does. Overall, the majority of people reported that they were unsatisfied, and the highest percentage of people gave it 1 star.

Is Zytenz Worth a Try?

To be honest, not really. Nutritional supplements should not be taken lightly. After all, your health is in the balance. That’s why you need to make sure you’re only buying supplements with solid ingredients, and from companies you can trust. Given what we know about how little science there is behind some of the main ingredients in this product, the formula appears to be a little weak. The company has a pretty bad rating with customers as well, with an “F” rating from the BBB.

But that’s not the only reason why we think this product might not be worth your time. Customer reviews have to be taken seriously, and when the majority of people on any one service give the product a “1,” you know you’re in for a product that probably doesn’t work very well.

Don’t bother with Zytenz.

Zytenz vs Viagra

The most obvious difference we’ve seen between these two products is that Zytenz is a nutritional supplement, and Viagra is a drug. That means that they’re intended to do totally different things. While technically they do share the promise to make men’s erections harder and stronger, Zytenz is supposed to do this by providing he body with herbs and plants that naturally help increase blood flow and testosterone, while Viagra contains a drug (sildenafil) that blocks a certain enzyme that permits blood to exit the erect penis, keeping it erect longer.

Zytenz vs Virectin

These pills are both considered “health supplements,” as both of them rely on natural herbs and chemicals to help support the body’s natural processes. Several of the ingredients are actually the same, including arginine, avena sativa, mucuna pruriens, and tribulus terrestris. They differ a little in price, with Zytenz consting $39.95 for a one-month supply, compared to Virectin’s $44.95. Both offer discounts for when you buy multiple bottles, however. Virectin also offers a free book and penis ring for certain purchases, while Zytenz only offers a free bottle of “serum” for two or more bottles ordered.

Zytenz vs Vigrx Plus

These supplements are, like Zytenz and Virectin, pretty similar. Both claim to help with erection strength, although some of the main active ingredients are different: Zytenz makes heavy use of d-aspartic acid, while Vigrx Plus relies more on epimedium (horny goat weed) and damiana. Vigrx Plus makes more of an effort to look “scientific,” providing lots of charts and studies that supposedly back up their claims about its effectiveness, while Zytenz is more content to make claims without trying to back them up. They’re also very different in price: Zytenz is only $39.95, while Virectin is a whopping $76.99 for a one-month pack.

Zytenz vs Rexavar

The first difference we noticed between these two products is the fact that Rexavar claims to physically make your penis larger, while Zytenz just says it can help make your erections harder and your sex drive more robust. This immediately puts these products into two different camps – one serious, and the other borderline-fraud. They’re both based on herbs and aphrodisiacs for their mode of working, and Rexavar at first glance seems to contain far fewer ingredients than Zytenz. Both of these products are about $40, so there’s no much of a difference in price. Rexavar has more reviews than Zytenz, but those reviews are about as bad as Zytenz, so they’re still matched there.
